Today I would very much like to feature a wonderful photography team that I recently had the pleasure of working with. They so brilliantly captured so many candid moments of our Bride and Groom Brii and Nick and of course highlighted the bright hues of our colorful flowers. I especially was impressed by their easy relaxed manner which made everyone so comfortable. Check out their wonderful work at http://www.studio101west.com

Gabrielle and Dennis’s Wedding
Red, Orange, Hot Pink and Lime Green
Gabrielle and Dennis came to me over a year in advance for their Floral Consultation. I was immediately struck by Gabrielle’s sweet angelic temperament and how lovingly Dennis and Gabrielle spoke to one another during our meeting. Their Love for one another was so special that I felt a strong connection with them to create the wedding of their dreams. Gabrielle had many wonderful ideas that were running in several directions. The main idea she was so enthusiastic about was she had to have Circus Roses as her theme flower. So everything was built around these roses, even the Bridesmaids dress color. Planning a wedding so far in advance can lead to changing your mind several times during the many months ahead and that is what happened since Gabrielle was attending several weddings before her own. I suggested she start a notebook with all her favorite ideas and 6 months before the wedding we would revisit the proposal and fine tune the design. That is precisely what Gabby did and 6 months prior to the wedding the design was solidified and we ran with it. Their wedding took place at The Self Realization Fellowship Lake Shrine in Pacific Palisades. What an incredibly Spiritual place to get married. The joyous reception was held at Inn of the Seventh Rey in Topanga Canyon.
Lindsay and John’s wedding took place on a beautiful day at Las Virgenes Open Space formerly known as Ahmanson ranch. Long rectangular tables were used for the reception and was catered with scrumptious comfort foods like fried chicken and macaroni and cheese by Bella Donna Special Events! Yummy!
